Creatine monohydrate does not contain calories, and as such does not trigger an insulin response that signals the body to store energy. Creatine for fasting is an excellent option. Many people who follow an intermittent fasting protocol take creatine post-workout as it doesn't interfere with the fasting state. So, no, creatine monohydrate does not break a fast.
