What’s it about?

We had to start with the classic film that put both bodybuilding and Arnold Schwarzenegger on the map…Pumping Iron.  Starring five-time Mr. Olympia winner Arnold Schwarzenegger, this film follows the then 28-year-old’s progress as he competes for his sixth title. Filmed in the ‘Golden Years’ of bodybuilding, this documentary reveals the rivalry Arnold had with Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), and all of the behind the scenes tactics and mind triucks used in the sport of bodybuilding, plus ALOT of crazy and motivating training scenes.

The Haunting of Hill House

For the hardcore Netflix enthusiast, you may have heard of this new supernatural horror. Flashing between past and present, a fractured family confronts haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.

What kind of session pairs well with it?

If you have a long cardio session planned, turn this on and watch as your cardio times passes by with ease. You may even find yourself staying on the treadmill just to keep watching! This is easily our favourite new series, we may or may not have watched it all in one weekend :s

What’s it about?

The Confession Tapes

Did you love Making a Murderer, then you you need to watch this. This true crime documentary series investigates cases where people convicted of murder claim their confessions were coerced, involuntary or false. Following six different cases with guilty verdicts reveal devious police tactics and false confessions. This one will leave you angry and ready to crush a workout!

What kind of session pairs well with it?

Start watching during cardio, then once your anger builds up you can start your weights workout and expend some of that built up energy.

What’s it about?

On of the most inspirational films of all time. Based on a true story, a controversial basketball coach Ken Carter puts school before sports and benches his undefeated high school team for poor academic performance.

The Staircase

Another ‘Making a Murder’ style docuseries that will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat, or in this case the edge of your exercise bike seat till the end! Was it an accident or a cold-blooded murder? After the mysterious death of his wife, author Michael Peterson watches his life go under the microscope.

Brooklyn 99

Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool…One of the best comedy series of the past few years, this show will draw you in and make you fall in love with at least one of the characters. Our favoruite is Boyle, could watch ‘Best of Boyle’ youtube videos for hours! Brilliant but immature Brooklyn detective Jake Peralta must learn to follow the rules and be a team player when his squad gets an exacting new captain.
