Our NYNY ‘22 event will take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre January 15, 2022. NYNY ’22 will take the form of a Seminar/Workshop covering five topics by six guest speakers! The goal of NYNY ’22 is for our customers to walk away with the knowledge of five steps to improve:

Tyarra and Jack are qualified Dietitians, Nutrition and Exercise Scientists, ISAK Anthropometrists, and passionate physique competitors. Tyarra and Jack provide insight into the bodybuilding lifestyle, including their journeys on and off the stage, evidence-based discussions on nutrition and exercise, as well as a range of guest interviews with professionals in the health and fitness industry.

Tyarra is an enthusiastic, caring, and open-minded coach who holds a strong passion for health, fitness, and nutrition science. As a competitive physique athlete herself, she strives to lead by example for her clients by finding a healthy balance between her bodybuilding endeavours, dietary patterns, career, relationships, and love for being outdoors. Ashley has been in the industry since ‘15. As a teen she never understood how to lose weight; she thought she just had to exercise a lot and eat low carb foods, which didn’t work very well - nor did it feed her soul. She saw exercise as a punishment and “healthy” food as unenjoyable. Her PT educated and guided her in understanding the correlation between exercise, nutrition, creating a nourishing lifestyle she loved and a positive mindset. Ashley learned she could enjoy food and still get great results.

From her experience she knew she wanted to help others start their journey to feeling as wonderful as she began to; both mentally and physically. She has studied personal training, nutrition, energy healing, and life coaching to be able to provide the most care and education to her clients, so she could be the support they need on all different levels of their journey.

Caroline Bellenger is a passionate life coach, author, motivational speaker and creator of ‘Be The Impossible’. From childhood sexual abuse to over twenty years of addiction and mental health issues, Caroline finally got sober in 2009. Since then, Caroline has gone on to represent Australia in triathlon, climb to Everest Base Camp, complete an honours degree, compete in national sporting events and award-winning life coaching & fitness business.

She is a recent winner of the national Roar Awards Best Advocate for Mental Health and a volunteer community presenter for Black Dog Institute. She has created a thriving life for herself using a toolbox of strategies to improve her mental health.

VPA will kickstart the event as soon as you arrive with complimentary protein bars and drink on arrival. The event will be fully catered so there is no need to worry about packing morning tea!

What happens if we have a lockdown?

Our event date will be moved post lockdown in line with QLD government regulations.

Can I purchase tickets for a friend?

Yes you can purchase a maximum of 10 tickets at a time (10 tickets is one table). Please note that each attendee will have to register on the day with an email/phone number and preferred training method (to get a coloured wrist band for the morning). Livestream tickets however will be limited to one ticket per person only.

Who can attend this event?

 

What do I do on the day of the event?

  1. Bring your best version of you. Bring yourself, open and ready to learn and engage
  2. Arrive at the venue with 15 mins to spare. Walk to the main foyer and go up the elevators to the "M floor". You will see signage for the VPA event. Allow 20 mins extra for traffic. We will have coffee and protein bars on arrival if you arrive a bit earlier than required. We would rather you be early and relaxed, rather than late/on time and frazzled.
  3. Stand in the attendees line with your QR code ready to scan. If you have a number of QR codes, please either give them to your friends as a screen dump on your mobile OR wait till your entire crew is together before proceeding to the sign in desk.
  4. All attendees will need to have the Check-in App downloaded on their device to gain access to this event. You must also have the green tick to show us that you are fully vaccinated.

I don't know anyone, will that be a problem?

No. You'll be given a coloured wristband to show what type of training you prefer (Powerlifting, General Gym, HIIT, etc etc). This will be a great "ice breaker" for you to mingle and meet other people. Whilst 90% of the event will be seated workshop style speaking, there will still be time to mingle and meet other like-minded people.

I've bought a ticket but now I can't attend, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately tickets, including livestream, are non-refundable. Please do not request a refund as you will be politely declined. This is due to catering and other requirements. If you are unable to attend, please contact customer support and you will receive access to the livestream version of the event.

I am unable to attend due to QLD interstate lockdown

If you are attending from interstate and cannot attend due to lockdown border closures, please contact customer support and you will receive access to the livestream version of the event.

I have special dietary requirements, is that ok?

We will do everything that we can to provide a table of food that meets special dietary requirements. If you do not have any allergies, please do not munch down on this table ;-)

How much does it cost to park?

Parking at BCEC is dependent on the duration of time your car is parked at the venue. For 3-4 hour parking which is how long the event will run for, it will cost $25. To see the parking options available at BCEC see the link https://www.bcec.com.au/visit/car-parking/


Alternatively, public transport options are available. The South Brisbane Train Station is located within walking distance of BCEC.

Can I share my livestream link with others

Unfortunately not. Please do not do this as the link will become inactive if it is streamed from more than one device. Please do the right thing.

Can I download the live event?

Unfortunately not.

Can I watch the live stream event at a later date?

Yes - you can watch the livestream event for a period of 7 days after the event. We highly recommend that you sit down and watch the livestream (pen and paper in hand) so that you can get the most out of it. This is not a podcast style event.

Can I bring a dependent or child to the event?

Unfortunately not. Please do not request this as you will be politely declined. This includes for future Mothers only events.

Wheelchair access?

100%. BCEC is 100% wheelchair accessible. No need to let us know. We will also do our best to save you a table that allows you to sit with friends and colleagues if you wish.
