Good News: US Deliveries Resuming by September 25

Australia Post has confirmed that parcel deliveries to the United States and Puerto Rico will resume on or before 25 September 2025. This follows the recent pause caused by changes to US customs and import tariff rules.

What This Means for VPA Customers

  • We’ll be able to start shipping orders to the US and Puerto Rico again by September 25, and possibly earlier.
  • Orders placed to US addresses during the suspension are still on hold but will be fulfilled as soon as services reopen.
  • Deliveries to Australia and all other international destinations have not been affected.

What Happened

On August 26, Australia Post temporarily suspended parcel services to the US and Puerto Rico due to new customs requirements. These rules affected more than 190 postal providers worldwide. Australia Post has since partnered with Zonos, a US Customs-authorised provider, to meet the updated requirements and restart deliveries.

What Happens Next

Australia Post expects services to resume on or before 25 September 2025. If they are able to lift the suspension sooner, they will. We’ll begin shipping VPA orders to US customers immediately once services are back online.
We know this pause has been frustrating and we appreciate your patience. Our priority has always been to keep you informed and to get your orders moving as quickly as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I place an order if I live in the US or Puerto Rico?

Not yet. Orders to the US and Puerto Rico will reopen once services resume on or before September 25.

What happens if I already placed an order before the suspension date?

If your order was placed on or before 26 August 2025 and cannot be shipped, our team will contact you to arrange a refund.

Can I still order supplements to an Australian or other international address?

Yes — this suspension only affects deliveries going to the US and Puerto Rico. Orders to Australia and other international destinations are not impacted.

Do I need to do anything with my VPA account?

No. These changes are being managed between Australia Post and US Customs. There’s nothing you need to update on your account.

How long will this suspension last?

Australia Post has confirmed deliveries will resume on or before September 25.

Will I be charged if my order can’t be shipped?

No. If we cannot ship your order, we’ll refund you in full and provide further details via email.

Can I pre-order products to make sure I don’t miss out?

We don’t currently offer pre-orders for US customers during the suspension. We recommend signing up for our emails or following us on social media so you’ll be the first to know when shipping is available again.

Where can I get updates?

We’ll share updates directly through our website, emails, and social media channels. You won’t need to check anywhere else.

Who can I contact if I have questions about my order?

Our customer support team is here to help. You can reach us directly through live chat on the VPA website or by contacting us at https://www.vpa.com.au/pages/contact-us with your order number.
