When you're craving for something sweet yet high in protein, try out this delicious and easy S'mores Protein Doughnut recipe. Made with VPA® vanilla whey protein isolate.
30g VPA® Vanilla Whey Isolate
15g Cadbury Cocoa Premium Dark
8g McKenzies Coconut Flour
5g Natvia Natural Sweetener
5g McKenzies Baking Powder
70g Chobani 0.5% Fat Greek Yoghurt
70g Coles Apple Sauce
1 x Whole Egg
20g VPA® Vanilla Whey Isolate
6g McKenzies Coconut Flour
3g Natvia Natural Sweetener
5g Cadbury Cocoa Premium Dark
45g Chobani 0.5% Fat Greek Yoghurt
10g Coles Mini Marshmallows
2 x Lotus Biscoff Biscuits, Crushed
your oven to 180 degrees. In a bowl, mix together your protein powder, cocoa,
coconut flour, sweetener and baking powder. In a separate bowl, combine your
greek yoghurt, applesauce and egg. Add your dry ingredients to wet ingredients
and mix until well combined.
Weigh your total doughnut mixture
and divide by 6, this will give you the total batter per doughnut. Evenly
distribute your mixture into 6 doughnut holes in a silicone doughnut tray.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Once cooked, remove doughnuts from
the tray and allow to fully cool before icing.
To make your icing, combine protein
powder, coconut flour, sweetener and cocoa in a bowl and mix. Add in greek
yoghurt and mix until combined. If your mixture is too dry, add small
amounts of water until you get a spreadable icing texture.
Weight total icing and divide by 6,
this will give you the icing per doughnut. Evenly spread out icing on each
doughnut. Top with marshmallows and crushed Biscoff biscuit. Refrigerate
