Kick your French Toast up a notch and try this Protein packed French Toast! Ready in 5 minutes, you can mix it up by trying different flavour whey proteins or use your imagination for toppings.
1 whole egg
10g VPA Vanilla Whey
50ml Skim Milk
Pinch of Cinnamon
3 x Slices Buttercup Country Split Wholemeal Bread
45g Cocobella Vanilla Yoghurt
10g Queens Sugar Free Maple Syrup
In a bowl, whisk together your egg, whey protein, skim milk and cinnamon. Pour mixture into a baking dish and place your bread slices in the mixture. Leave to soak for 3-5 minutes. Flip the bread and let it soak for a further 2-3 minutes.
Heat a non stick pan over a medium heat. Once hot, place your bread in the pan. Cook for 3-5 minutes, until golden. Flip and cook the second side for a further 2-3 minutes.
Place your french toast on a serving plate. Top with yoghurt, fruit and maple syrup. Enjoy!
