If you like a little bit of heat with your chocolate than this recipe is for you. These Choc Chilli Protein Balls are delicious with just the right about of mouth warmth. Play around with the chilli amount to tailor it to you.
(No-bake, Flour free, Nut free, Gluten Free)
2 scoops VPA Chocolate WPI
½ cup Dates (Soaked)
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
½ cup Coconut
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
Pinch of Chilli Flakes*
Soak the dates for 20 min in boiling water. Drain well.
Transfer dates and remaining ingredients to a food processor and bits on high until smooth.
Take approx 2 tbsp of mixture and roll to make a ball.
Coat the ball in coconut and set aside.
Repeat with remaining mixture.
Enjoy the Choc Chilli Protein Balls.
*Start with about ¼ of a tsp of chilli flakes. This recipe only make 8 so unless you love, love, LOVE! the heat, don't go to heavy on the chilli.
