Our take on this fluffy, cholesterol free, and low calorie steamed bun is a treat! With added protein powder and a delicious sweet custard in the middle. They are a perfect post-workout snack.

- ½ tbsp. Yeast
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp. Plain Flour
- 2 tbsp. Hot Water
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 1 tbsp. Oil
- ½ cup Water
- ½ pkt Quick Custard Powder (40g)
- 1 scoop Vanilla WPI
- 3-4 tbsp. Water

Directions
- In a large mixing bowl combine the first four ingredients and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients and rest for a further 30 minutes.
- Prepare the protein custard filling by combining all custard ingredients.
- Dust work surface with flour and kneed dough for 5 minutes.
- Divide dough into 10 even balls.
- One by one press a portion of dough flat in your palm, add a tbsp of custard to the centre and pinch the edges together.
- Rest for 15 minutes before steaming for 5 minutes. (over a gas cook top, medium heat)
